British Brass Band

From its beginnings in East London 150 years ago, the Salvation Army has had a leading role for a brass band.

This form of band music typically uses all brass instruments to fill out melody, harmonies and bass.  However, over the years many different types of SA bands have formed and we always welcome any player on almost all instruments.

For our part, the band's repertoire includes fanfares, marches, song arrangements, hymns and modern praise music.  Most of our music is drawn from the 150 years of Salvation Army published works, with the others genres and composers thrown in for good measure.
